The excavation was carried out at the Ridge Compound in ‘Atlit (Ronen and Olami 1978: sites 106, 107; Davidov 2019, and see references therein), on the southeastern slopes of the kurkar ridge. Rock-cutting marks, possibly severance channels, and various cupmarks, wither hewn or natural, were found on three protruding rock outcrops (L1–L3; Fig. 2). Outcrop 3 bore several hewn channels, perhaps evidence of the detachment of a few quarried stones. No datable material was found.
