Square A. A cist tomb, dug in hamra (L13; 0.9×1.7 m; Figs. 2, 3) and covered with medium-sized fieldstones, was exposed. One of the covering stones was removed and a storage jar that dated to the Early Roman period (first century CE) was revealed. The jar was covered over and not documented out of concern for disturbances on the part of religious zealots.
Square B. The upper part of a cist tomb, dug in hamra (L14; 1.2×1.9 m; Figs. 3, 4), was exposed c. 5 m west of the tomb in Sq A.
